Aarogyasampanna

Niramaya is implementing the Project Aarogyasampanna in the slums of Vashinaka Trombay through the support of Tata Motors limited.

The objective of the program is to reduce malnutrition in children and to raise awareness about preventive health. 1000 children from this location are being covered every year through this program. Niramaya team working on this project not only focus on the treatment of malnourished children but also put extra efforts to improve their daily dietary practices. The project has resulted into 80% improvement in nutritional status of malnourished children.
