Dr. Kshama Nikam, Chief executive officer

Dr. Kshama is a graduate in Ayurvedic Medicine and surgery and Post-graduate diploma holder in Hospital and Healthcare Management. She is a dynamic and enthusiastic public health professional with 12 years hands on experience in Project Planning and Implementation. She is Chief Executive Officer and responsible for managing mother and child health related programs.

She was associated with Family Planning Association of India in various capacities starting from Medical Officer to Technical Program Manager for 7 years before joining Niramaya Health Foundation.

Ms. Dipti Mathure, Program Officer

Ms Dipti Mathure holds Masters of Social Work and has worked for over 6 years in the area of Maternal and Child Health. She loves to work with women and children.

She has worked in the field of Mother and Child Health, Sexual and Reproductive Health and Prevention and Promotion of health care services. Been a social worker she has expertise in grass root level planning, implementation of the program as well as networking and advocacy with Government machinery.

She is a multi-tasker with excellent communication skills who believes in great work ethics and teamwork.

Ms. Ankita Bhoi, Junior program officer

Ankita has Completed her masters in Social work from Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth (Pune) in Family and Child Welfare in 2015, she has 12 years of work experience in the social sector with expertise in Training programs, especially in Life skill education, Sexual and Reproductive health, Gender sensitization. She has also designed and implemented Adolescents Training program modules and booklets for school students.

Ankita’s key skills include program planning and Implementation. She is a certified Master Trainer from UNICEF.

She believes her social work passion that will always encourage her to do meaningful work in the community that will eventually bring about a change in society.

Ms. Dipti Panekar, Project Coordinator

Ms. Dipti Panekar holds a Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from IGNO University and boasts over 16 years of enriching experience in the social sector. Her expertise lies in counseling, advocacy, and facilitating training programs. Throughout her career, she has passionately contributed to addressing a myriad of crucial issues, including community women’s reproductive health, sexual health, gender inequalities, and domestic violence.

Dipti has a proven track record of designing and executing impactful initiatives. Noteworthy among her accomplishments are the development and implementation of Adolescent training programs focusing on life skills education for schools and communities. Additionally, she has spearheaded projects such as the Malnutrition and Anemia Detection and Reduction Program for Adolescents, as well as the Menstrual Health and Hygiene Management Program.

Previously, Dipti served in a pivotal role within her former organization, where her dedication and innovation significantly impacted the lives of many. In 2021, she joined Niramaya Health Foundation as a Project Coordinator, where she continues her mission to drive positive change and uplift communities.

Mr. Sumit Anant Pawaskar, Project Coordinator

Mr. Sumit Anant Pawaskar is a seasoned professional in the social development sector, with over nine years of experience as a Senior Training and Monitoring Officer. Throughout his career, Sumit has worked extensively across various communities in Mumbai and BMC schools, focusing on life skills education for children and youth. His efforts center on empowering young people by developing critical life skills, while also promoting their social, emotional, and mental well-being for a brighter future.

Sumit has conducted numerous training sessions with youth, parents, teachers, peers, and other key stakeholders, demonstrating his expertise in planning and implementation. In 2024, he joined Niramaya Health Foundation as a Project Coordinator, where he is committed to driving positive social change. Through this new role, Sumit continues to leverage his passion and experience to create lasting, meaningful impacts in the communities he serves.

Ms. Rupali Barkade, Project Coordinator

Rupali Barkade completed her Master’s in Social Work from Satara, Maharashtra, specializing in Human Resources (HR) in 2017. She has 6 years of experience in the social sector, with expertise in training programs, particularly in Career Readiness, Education, Health, and Youth Development. Her passion for social work drives her to engage in meaningful initiatives that create a positive impact on the community.

Mr. Mangesh Bhandare, Project Coordinator

Mr. Mangesh Bhandare is a postgraduate diploma holder in WASH from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai. He also holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from CSRD–ISWR, Ahilyanagar, and a Master’s degree in Economics (MA Economics) from RNC Bytco College.Since 2018, Mr. Bhandare has been actively engaged in the development sector, with extensive experience across Rural, Urban, and Tribal development contexts. His core areas of focus include Child education, Public health, and Social research. Through both formal and informal interventions, he has consistently advocated for marginalized and underserved communities, working on critical issues related to their welfare, rights, and overall well-being.In 2025, Mr. Bhandare assumed the role of Program Coordinator at Niramaya Health Foundation in Khalapur Taluka, Raigad District.

Dr. Aditya Kambli, Medical Officer

Dr. Aditya Kambli, completed his undergraduate degree and internship in Ayurveda from R. A. Podar Government Ayurveda Medical College, Worli, Mumbai, and pursued his postgraduate MD in Ayurveda from Ayurved Mahavidyalaya & Seth R. V. Ayurved Hospital, Sion.During his medical training, Dr. Aditya completed residencies in Pediatrics and Gynecology at Seth R. V. Ayurved Hospital, Sion, gaining hands-on expertise in patient care and clinical management.Additionally, he collaborated with the Cardiac CVTS surgical team at Asian Heart Institute, Mumbai; served as a Resident Medical Officer at the BKC COVID Centre during the pandemic; contributed to the COVID-19 vaccination drive; and earned certifications in Ayurvedic Dermatology and Applied Panchakarma.

Dr. Nitin Dhawle, Medical Officer

Dr. Nitin Dhawle, completed his graduation from Sion (AYU) Medical College and Hospital, Sion, Mumbai, and his post-graduation MBA in Healthcare Management. After completion, he worked in a Central Government Hospital, Ulhasnagar, as a Resident Doctor.He worked during the COVID-19 pandemic at the Thane Rural COVID Center, Sawad, District Thane, as an ICU Resident. He also worked as a Resident Medical Officer at Axon Hospital and Dialysis Center, Sakinaka, Mumbai.Additionally, he worked in the casualty room at Central Railway EMR, Kurla, Mumbai; as a Resident Doctor at Supreme Multispeciality Hospital, Ghatkopar West, Mumbai; and as an ICU Intensivist at Rathod Hospital and Medicure Hospital, Bhandup.He has 5 years of experience in the medical field.
