MAMTA

The project MAMTA aims to bring down the prevalence of malnutrition in children between 0-10 years age group and reduction of maternal mortality by ensuring effective antenatal and postnatal care. This project is being implemented at Annabhau Sathe Nagar and Maharashtra Nagar, Mankhurd with the support of GeBBS Healthcare Solutions. 3 thousand children and 200 pregnant women are being supported under this project. Children are screened to assess their nutritional status and identified malnourished children are supported with appropriate medication and diet plan. Their parents undergo dietary education to improve family’s daily diet practices. High risk pregnancies are detected and managed at early stage in this project so that pregnancy related complications can be avoided and healthy pregnancy outcomes can be achieved.
