World Breastfeeding Week 2021

World Breastfeeding Week is an annual celebration held every year from 1 to 7August. Breastfeeding as one of the most effective ways to ensure child health and survival. This year, the theme for breastfeeding week was 'Protect Breastfeeding: A Shared Responsibility.'

World Breastfeeding Week was celebrated at all project locations to encourage breastfeeding and improve the health of babies as well as mothers.

Niramaya organized different programs such as Health Exhibition, Rallies, Miking activities, Poster display and competitions to create awareness about importance of breastfeeding.
