The Aarogya Project has been launched with the support of the TATA Power Community Trust at Bhivpuri, Raigad District, Maharashtra. The community faces significant challenges due to limited access to government health services and high out-of-pocket expenses related to travel for tertiary care. In response, Niramaya Health Foundation's Aarogya Project aims to enhance the health and nutritional levels of various groups within the community, including children, pregnant women, lactating mothers, adolescent girls and boys, as well as community men and women. The project delivers health services directly to people's doorsteps and conducts health education activities to boost health awareness and promote personal hygiene practices. In FY 2024-25, the project has successfully empowered the community to address common health issues and nutritional deficiencies, reaching more than 7,000 community members.
