Aarogyadisha project focuses on curative as well as preventive aspect of health. Project aims in providing Curative Healthcare services through Mobile Medical Van. Health checks up camps are organized in 12 different areas in Mumbai and its nearby vicinity. Timely referrals, liaison with Govt health centers/system is also carried out under this project. Focus on Anemia reduction and awareness (Women and Adolescents) is an addition branch of this project. As a part preventive health care, health promotion activities, home visits are been carried out through Niramaya’s health workers to reach out to the maximum number of community people. Health Awareness sessions are conducted in one-to-one and groups with community women. This project aims to cover approx 40000 beneficiaries from these communities.

Some of the project activities are;

  • Providing curative healthcare services in the community through Mobile Medical Van
  • Awareness and sensitization on Anemia with HB testing and IFA supplements.
  • Community Health Awareness Sessions on various health issues of the community to promote health seeking behavior
  • Develop networking with the government health system, stakeholders
